Reflections

holycross

Hello to all,

I am so proud to be a part of this experience and to spread the word of God. Reflections will be a column on various different topics that I will research and write myself. I have been thinking a lot about how Christ is in us and we are his temple. 2nd Corinthians 6:16-18, God says for we are the temple of the living God. As God has said "I will live with them and walk among them, I will be their God, and they will be my people." "Therefore come out from them and be separate says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing and I will receive you." "I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters.", says the Lord Almighty.

2nd Corinthians 7:1 Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

God wants us to be pure and holy and follow his law. He wants us to walk with him and talk with him. He is there for us, he will hear your prayer. For everyone that reads this, ask God to give you the strength to be pure and make your temple holy. God is a forgiving God, but a person has to repent and ask for forgiveness and pray to him every day. The minute you wake up you should pray to him, the minute you close your eyes to go to sleep pray to him. If you are a person that is reading this and your temple is unclean, go to God in prayer. He will hear you. Walk a pure path, God will give you the strength but you have to believe and have faith. I believe in him and every time I have called out to him, he has heard my prayer. He may not answer us as fast as we want, but "have faith". He hears us. Keep talking to him, be faithful to him and he will be to you. Understand that God knows who we are on the inside. He knows our thoughts, our actions, he knows if you have wronged someone, and if your temple is unclean. Remember that what is on the inside is what matters. God doesn't care what we wear or what we drive. God's love is real and he loves each one of us. Please take a moment and speak to God in prayer.

I feel so good after writing this. God has blessed me in so many ways. He has given me the strength to research and write in this column. I have faith in him now and forever and I hope that you will too.

I hope you will join me again as God gives me the strength to spread the word and develop this column as a tool to finding strength, love, and forgiveness to all who read.

In Christ,

Jennifer
